Cultural

Music

In addition to Music being available within the curriculum choices of the College, further musical experiences and opportunities exist for students.

Specialist tutors are available, on a private tuition basis, to provide tuition in a wide range of string, brass, reed and percussion instruments: arrangements are made through the Music Coordinator. Students may join various groups and ensembles. Many musical 'events' occur throughout the year.

Drama

A wide range of Drama experiences are available at Brigidine College, from studying Drama within the curriculum to belonging to the Drama Club. There are many performances throughout the year showcasing the student’s talent.

Drama provides a background for many occupations both within and outside of the arts, communications and entertainment industries. Increasingly, industries involving close contact with the public, such as public relations, law, marketing, hospitality, journalism and tourism actively recruit those with a drama background.

Dance

The Dance Club provides an instructor who takes group classes before and after school.  Students participate in Eisteddfods and prepare for the annual College Dance Spectacular.

Debating

Students compete within the ISDA (Independent Schools’ Debating Association), the CSDA (Catholic Schools Debating Association) and Archdale Debating inter-schools competitions.
