Overview
As educators we recognize the explosion of knowledge faced by our students in a technologically driven, information rich and interconnected society.
Students now, as never before, have access to a wide range of learning media and styles. Through interactive learning, students can master the essential skills of being able to sift material to synthesize it into meaningful pieces, to link it with other learning, to apply and extend it into other contexts and to solve problems and analyse issues.
As they leave school, students need not only to have the marks to admit them to their preferred courses, but also those skills which will help them adapt to a wide range of future possibilities – problem solving, decision making, confidence and self-reliance.
The students learn in a collaborative and co-operative environment which caters for the different learning styles of girls. Both the academically challenged and academically gifted are supported through a Learning Support programme and an Honours programme.
