The Uplift Program, Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Council. Free eight week wellness program for people aged 12-15 and 16-24 years. The program covers a range of mental health, physical health, fitness and overall wellbeing content. Uplift will be launching at Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre on 16 February and sessions will run weekly on Wednesdays 4.30pm-6pm.
EOI YFoundations health video, YFoundations is looking for young people with an interest in the performing arts for a series of educational health videos. Three videos will be produced to support their health department and they would love to include some of the young people that they help support. They are looking for four to six young people, aged 18+. Young people will be reimbursed for their time.
Youth Re-Engage Workshops, Catholic Care, Multiple topics available, free two hour, one on one workshop. Must be between 16-25 and have a case worker.
Parents / Carers
Carer Support Groups: A workshop For Facilitators, Carers NSW. An interactive 3-week workshop covering a broad range of topics and issues that relate to the role of a carer support group facilitator. This training is open to service providers and carers who currently facilitate a carer support group or are interested in facilitating their own group. Wednesday 9 February – Wednesday 23 February, 10.30am-12.30pm. Free.
Circle Of Security, Catholic Care. A six week program for parents/carers of children over 12 years. Wednesdays 23 February – Sunday 30 March, 10am-12pm, $20.
