Navigating Child Mental Health in a Digital World

Brigidine College St Ives is hosting the Inaugural National Mental Health & Social Media Symposium, bringing together school leaders, wellbeing professionals, policymakers and technology experts from across Australia to examine the impact of digital technology on student mental health.
This one-day symposium will explore how schools can respond to the challenges posed by social media, smartphones, and constant connectivity – issues that are increasingly shaping students’ experiences of anxiety, identity, relationships and self-worth.
Keynote Speaker
Dr Danielle Einstein, clinical psychologist and researcher who has influenced national strategies on youth mental health, will present the latest research on youth anxiety and the psychological effects of social media. Her insights will provide a foundation for discussions on practical strategies and informed responses in school communities.
